After the dPC™ is run, proteins are electro-eluted directly from the chip onto PVDF membrane for antibody detection using standard protocols. An optimized technology (patent pending) has been developed that maximizes the transfer process without the loss of proteins through the membrane during transfer. This provides the researcher a convenient way to validate protein identifications made from their MS workflow.
